The love that hate produced
ESPN – May 3, 2007
Something you unknowingly and inaccurately labeled yourself because 50 can’t spit like you hit. And 50 although hated by his peers seems to get more love from the general public than you may see in five lifetimes. Imagine having this written about you (by Chris Ackerman on DoghouseBoxing. com): “The problem is [Mayweather] is a jackass and has placed himself in a lose-lose situation. There is no win here for him thanks to stupid decisions stupid behavior and inexplicably stupid comments. … The problem with the strategy is that PBF [Pretty Boy Floyd] is now painted into a corner from which there is no way to emerge triumphant even if he wins the fight. The legend is utterly fake but seems old and authentic thanks to such New England yarn-spinning staples as a lonely sea captain’s wife a nor’easter and a watery death. (For more on "The Invention of Tradition" check out the excellent 1983 book of that title by Eric Hobsbawm and Terence Ranger. )The agency created a blog (seahag. com) to perpetrate the legend. It’s run by a fictional grad student named Susan Anderson whose Sea Hag obsession has ostensibly led her to collect different versions of the tale. E-mails sent to the blog are received by Heavybag which answers them in Anderson’s voice.
How to Build an RSS 2.0 Feed
'Reilly Media – May 4, 2007
The chapter on RSS modules and extensions discusses the Dublin Core CommentAPI and the Geo extension briefly. Personally I would have liked more explanation and details on the extensions and modules. The last chapter is a short list of the many high profile websites using RSS including WordPress MSN CNET eBay Amber Alerts and many others. In all the book was concise and easy to understand. I would highly recommend it for beginners who need to know the basics to quickly add an RSS feed for their website. view now –>ul { margin: 0 0 0 1.
