To help populate the blogosphere with the Mpire widgets the company has inked deals with distributors such as Whateverlife. com and developed them to integrate easily with MySpace TypePad WordPress and other blogging platforms. “A lot of pundits have been saying this is the year of the widget that this is the year that this really blows out to bloggers and Web publishers” Hulett said. Poll watchdog fears diversion of 140K AV ballots

This was the claim of poll watchdog group Kontra Daya which expressed “serious concern” over the matter in a statement posted on its website (kontradaya. com) Wednesday morning. “Return-to-sender (RTS) mails refer to ballots that were sent to overseas absentee voters but were not received by the target voters. These RTS mails will now be delivered to the Committee on AV (CAV) Comelec office in Manila and re-sent to their intended recipients via private couriers” it said.
