What can be new about a plug strip? The ability to turn on and off each plug individually eases several pains in network management. All those remote racks spread around your company? '" Lenard said he launched a blog for two reasons: to organize and manage information he was gathering about legal matters and to increase his knowledge of labor and employment law which is his specialty. He initially created his blog with free software called Blogger now part of Google. Since then he has upgraded to another blogging tool called WordPress created his own domain name and invested about $200 on Web hosting. Since his blog went live Lenard said he has attracted attention from all sorts of people interested in labor law including fellow attorneys academicians and the media. In February for example he was quoted in a Time magazine article about the growing trend of video résumés and in April the Wall Street Journal included his blog among Web sites where job hunters could obtain useful advice about employment issues. "The blog has increased my network of professional contacts" Lenard said. "There is no doubt that I am getting visibility from the blog.
