Everyone is looking for that formula to make our games more exciting more action-packed and more ESPN highlight memorable. But when it comes down to it and all the marbles are on the table the old ways are still the best. The teams that usually get to the Super Bowl are usually well rounded but they are the ones who run the ball more consistently and play the best defense. It happened again on Sunday.

Indeed Mullenweg says he pinches himself “pretty much every day. ” He can hardly believe his good fortune. He is the creator of the wildly popular WordPress a software platform on which blogs run and which he originally developed while living in Houston. He’s also the founder of Automattic the company that runs among other things a hosted blogging service using WordPress. Last year PC World named him one of the 50 most important people on the Web. After turning down a deal from an unnamed entity to buy Automattic for more than $200 million Mullenweg decided to seek investors to grow his fledgling business. Mullenweg outlined the company’s plans to increase the storage available to its users. He said that the move followed an assortment of IT infrastructure upgrades during 2007.

Today one of those developments comes to fruition ? everyone?s free upload space has been increased 60x from 50mb to 3000mb. To get the same amount of space at our nearest competitor Typepad you?d pay at least $300 a year. Blogger only gives you 1GB. We?re doing the same thing for free.
