Komando’s Q & A: Start a blog for job cash purposes
USA Today
Few realize that a blog can help with a job search. You can set up your blog in minutes. Blogger WordPress and LiveJournal make it easy. To make money blogging you’ll need lots of visitors. Use tools like PicApp and FastBlogFinder to get your blog noticed. You’ll also need ads. Look into Google AdSense and affiliate programs.

HIMSS going open source?
ZDNet
Us although ZDNet uses. This is newsworthy only because HIMSS itself is a collection of highly proprietary vendors. As I said in covering last year’s HIMSS show in rlando it looked like nothing so much as a 1986 Comdex. That was not meant as a compliment. HIMSS members are licking their lips over news that healthcare IT.

Flickr And Smugmug Bidding To Buy JPG Magazine
Internet Financial News KY
have all been involved in a bidding war over JPG Magazine and reports that it looks like a transaction will close shortly. Matt Mullenweg denies that WordPress has ever had any conversations about anything like this in the comments of the post. Don MacAskill seems to suggest on Twitter that SmugMug was at least interested but that they’re now unlikely to bid:From Don:”JPG Magazine may be saved! The other bidders have much deeper pockets so we’re unlikely to bid afterall but if something happens. We were going to turn JPG Magazine back over the community try to run it at a small loss and mostly do our best to keep it from extinction. “For what it’s worth I doubt that you’ll see anyone acquire JPG Magazine for any serious money at all. JPG was a money losing proposition (unfortunately) and not very many people are going to be interested in a money losing magazine at this juncture in a recession.

‘Joe The War Correspondent’
Express from The Washington Post DC
com pokes fun at the fact that Samuel Wurzelbacher aka “Joe the Plumber” will be covering the Gaza conflict for a blog called Pajamas TV. » “[IT] ADDS A NICE community feel. It will also take the pressure off the parks we have. I hope area residents embrace this change as progress.

Who’s To Blame For Faster Indexing? Google Sitemaps or FeedBurner
Search Engine Roundtable
That being said the. I want to isolate one post from “IncrediBILL” who asks the question is the Sitemap to credit for these sites getting indexed faster or is it FeedBurner?Google acquired FeedBurner and FeedBurner is incredibly fast at picking up new content specifically from WordPress blogs which is what the study was done on. That being said the report would have not shown an increase in speed to crawl if Sitemaps did not have anything to do with it. FeedBurner was a factor before the Sitemaps files were in place and they were a factor after the Sitemaps files were in place. So the only thing that really changed with this site (outside of Google changing variables which they do often) is the Sitemaps addition. So who would you credit for the faster indexing? Google’s Sitemap protocol or FeedBurner? I’ll poll it up:.

PR Web (press release) WA
Using WordPress's blogging software was a great start but I wanted her blog to have a custom look and feel. Custom blog designs can run well into the hundreds of dollars and that doesn't include web hosting. I realized there was not an affordable solution out there so we created one.
